Title:
Service Charge Accountant - London


Salary:
£35 - £38K

  • OER are working with a bespoke commercial and residential landlord with a lovely thriving team to recruit an experienced residential service charge accountant._

Main Duties:


  • Accurate preparation of yearly Service Charge Accounts
  • Analytical review of income, expenditure and cash flow reports
  • Preparation of an extended trial balance from scratch on Microsoft Excel
  • Investigate and solve auditor queries
  • Maintain year end control sheets
  • Ensure that Accounts are prepared within the terms set out in the Lease
  • Liaise with property managers and clients to resolve accounting queries
  • Issue Section 20b

Person Specification:


  • Comprehensive and demonstrable service charge accounting experience
  • Experience working with a property management system preferred
  • Knowledge of how to close year ends and demand balancing service charges
  • Strong written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills
