Description

As a Safe and Legal Specialist you will work across the McColls Safe & Legal central team to deliver safety management systems to safeguard our colleagues and customers and ensure legal compliance at all times.

Performance Management of Retail and prioritisation of where to reduce risk and improve compliance across Food Safety, Health & Safety and Trading Standards.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

Manage incident and accident follow up as well as leading serious incidents and monitoring of retail compliance
Coach retail teams to deliver Safe & Legal and procedural compliance across Risk & Loss.
Using reporting and investigation techniques to identify patterns and remedial actions
Working as part of the Risk department, focused on delivering Retail compliance on matters of Safe & Legal
Provide clear assessment of risk and outline the necessary steps to improve, supported by business data and operational knowledge
Work with both central and field teams to minimise risk through effective coaching & action planning
Ensure retail compliance in maintaining high standards of safe & legal management systems and data analysis
Build and review all reports on a periodic basis to ensure the data strategy is fulfilling its full potential and provide insight into new reporting ideas
