Are you an inspirational and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant looking for a new challenge? Do

you have the skills and personality required to motivate and energize pupils? Are you passionate and enthused about learning within the Primary curriculum and helping pupils to achieve their full potential?


We are looking for someone who is capable of inspiring pupils through their passion for supporting children and a desire to make a difference to pupil achievement.


Washwood Heath Academy is a relatively new All Through Academy (Primary, Secondary and Sixth Form) in the East of Birmingham.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a newly developed Primary team and contribute to the Primary Phase, which seeks to provide a first class education for all of its learners.

Our school is in a central location, with wonderful and enthusiastic pupils, amazing staff who always go the extra mile for their classes.

We are part of the Washwood Heath Multi Academy Trust which is a family of local schools located within 15 minutes of one another: 4 Primary schools, 2 Secondary schools and 1 All-through school.

You will be a Teaching Assistant who:

  • has experience of working in a school environment
- has proven skills that will contribute to classroom practice
- is a reflective and flexible practitioner

- excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to communicate effectively with children, staff and parents
