Midday Supervisor

Part time 8.75 hours per week, term-time only

Permanent

Grade A NJC point 2 (FTE £22,366)

£4, £4,573.95 Actual Salary per annum
Rosslyn Park Primary and Nursery School is seeking to appoint a Midday Supervisor to join our lunchtime supervision team. This is a part-time, term-time only position for 8.75 hours per week. The working hours are Mon-Fri (11.45am-1.30pm).


Rosslyn Park is a large primary school with nearly 700 children on roll and we pride ourselves on supporting each one of them and their families.

Our children feel valued and have a sense of belonging to the school and the local diverse community.

We believe strongly in developing the whole child and ensure that our knowledge-rich curriculum is supported by strong pastoral provision.

We are looking for a hardworking, team player to join our excellent lunchtime supervision team.


Main Responsibilities are:

  • Supervision, organisation and safeguarding of children within the playground and dining hall
  • Organise and develop interactive activities for the children during play
  • To ensure all children receive a school meal or have their own packed lunch
  • To oversee dining arrangements that promote an orderly and pleasant meal service for pupils
  • To ensure the dining hall is kept clean during meal service
  • To deal with behaviour incidents in the playground and dining hall
  • Exhibit a calm and reassuring manner
  • Be passionate about making a difference to every child
  • Value a team working approach and be keen to contribute and share your skills with colleagues
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be punctual and reliable
