My leading manufacturing client based on the outskirts of Retford are looking for an experienced Accounts Administrator on a full time basis to start ASAP.

Temp to Perm


Working hours are 9am-5.30pm Monday to Thursday. Friday 9am-3pm
Great friendly relaxed working environment.


Duties will include:

  • Raise purchase orders for goods and submit to suppliers
  • Process invoices for goods received
  • Raise sales invoices where required
  • Maintain accounting spreadsheet
  • Pay supplier invoices
  • Send accounting spreadsheet to accountants on a quarterly basis in order to submit the VAT
  • Raise sales invoices can be in full or partial
  • Process supplier invoices, both via purchase order or entering on a batch basis
  • Pay supplier invoices
  • Debtor chase
  • Order and/or pay for supplies required by companies they don't have a credit account with ie Amazon, Trade-Letters
  • Reconcile bank account on
    Sage
  • Process vat quarters via
    Sage, arrange payment to HMRC or look out for refunds, whichever is relevant
  • Raise PO's
  • Do journal for interest relating to the BBL to ensure balance is correct
  • Reconcile petty cash both on spreadsheet and QB
  • Raise sales invoices
  • Debtor chase
- do a spreadsheet each time which shows what is outstanding, when it is due and any notes relevant to receiving or chasing payments

  • Process supplier invoices
  • Pay supplier invoices
in whichever way required

  • Do vat reconciliation on a quarterly basis
  • Reconcile bank account on QB
  • Arrange Euro payments with external companies, which includes getting the best rate, paying sterling over, entering transactions on QB
  • Enter credit card transactions on QB
  • Reconcile credit card on a monthly basis and arrange transfer of funds.
  • Assist in completion of forms from customers which confirm insurance, policies etc
  • Complete authorisation forms required for customs import clearances
  • General admin as required.
  • Ensure all information necessary for customs is entered on sales invoices for orders being exported, sign them, stamp them and scan them for sending to the transport companies.

As with any SME, it will be imperative that the person employed is flexible, have an ability to change priorities/hats when required and has an overall "can-do" attitude. You must be a team player It is anticipated that there will be some crossover with accounts and admin to ensure BAU during holidays/sick leave etc.
Pay £16 per hour.
