ABOUT THE ROLE:


Reporting to Head of Payroll and working day-to-day with a Payroll Manager along with working closely with HR and Finance, you will be able to build and forge great relationships with key people within the Partnership, you will be deadline focussed and have attention to detail.

We are seeking a Payroll Administrator to provide quality and timely support.

The role is for the business part of our in-house Payroll Team which seamlessly manages the payroll for over 1,000 employees.

You will be required to assist the Payroll Manager with 6 different pay runs throughout the month.


ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Head of Payroll and working within a small team of HR and Payroll people, key duties include:

  • Assist with all variable pay changes including starters, leavers, transfers, salary changes, P45s, holidays and manual calculations
  • Assist with day to day queries from staff, management, and third party organisations
  • Assisting with Season Ticket loans, gym memberships and other benefits
  • Assisting with any ad hoc Payroll duties and tasks

Knowledge and Experience

  • Demonstrably experience working in Payroll
  • A good understanding of Tax and NI and the ability to assist employees with queries in this area
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Very strong attention to detail
  • Good Excel skills
  • Proven experience working within in a dynamic, fastpaced environment
  • A professional work attitude and the ability to work successfully in a team environment
  • Positive attitude with strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with staff of all levels
  • The ability to work to set deadlines and ensure that all objectives are met
