About the Post:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team within our Children's Residential Service here in Barnsley.

We currently have two vacancies for Residential Support Workers.

We are in the process of renaming the role to Residential Child Care Practitioner, there will not be any changes to the current Job profile.

Do you have experience of caring and supporting children and young people and have high aspirations for children to flourish and achieve?


The role will require you to provide a high standard of care, engaging and nurturing our children and young people.

Keeping them safe, helping them to learn, develop have fun and experience new and different opportunities ensuring positive outcomes for our children and young people.


These roles require you to be passionate, dedicated, resilient, creative, resourceful, motivated, and flexible to meet the physical and emotional demands of the role.
