Take a Seat People are recruiting for an experienced Clinical Psychologist in the Midlands. Working with acute patients on a secure ward, you will have experience with complex and challenging cases. This is an opportunity to test yourself and do some of your best work. We have several roles in various hospitals across the region. Allowing you to focus on your niche and work with the presentations you enjoy most. What will you get in return?

With an unlimited CPD budget you will have the chance to enhance the skills you choose. Supervision is provided bi weekly along with peer support meetings. There is plenty of opportunity to develop your career, no getting stuck in the same position.

  • Assessing complex needs and designing and delivering specialist psychological treatments. Delivering high quality 1:1 assessments and treatment to patients
  • Support the clinical team to develop new initiatives and ways of working
  • Develop and manage groupwork programmes and innovative therapeutic approaches
  • Support and develop staff training
  • Participate fully with the multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

  • HCPC registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologists
  • Doctorate level in Clinical Psychology
  • Experience in one or more therapeutic modalities
  • Clear understanding of risk assessment/management tools and formulation
