We are keen to welcome a person, keen to develop a career in digital marketing, as SEO Executive.

You will report to the Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) Manager and will assist in the development and delivery of VetPartners numerous veterinary practice websites, trading under various brands.

There will also be opportunities to support the SEO Manager with other websites within the VetPartners digital estate including e-commerce and the corporate website itself.


Day to day responsibilities:


  • Manage veterinary practice website migrations
  • Conducting technical audits of veterinary practice websites
  • Undertaking keyword research and Search Engine Results Page (SERP) analysis to help define the keywords and language we should be targeting on practice sites
  • Providing Organic competitor analysis
  • Editing and writing SEOoptimised content for meta tags, image alt tags and headings
  • To build confidence in identifying common website problems and providing reasonable solutions
  • To develop an understanding of CMS including Drupal and WordPress
  • Employing the use of Google Search Console and Google Analytics to review organic performance
  • Neardaily communications with relevant teams such as content and the website team
  • Ultising the opportunities for further training and chances to upskill
  • Support the SEO Manager on adhoc SEO tasks

  • Practically the role could be based either in office, entirely, or flexibly with at least 60% inoffice time, to ensure mentoring and collaboration. Our central support office, Spitfire House is to the North of York, at YO30 4UZ, so the ability to be present in York regularly is a must

Person Specification:


  • Demonstrable ability to write and communicate clearly.
  • Demonstrable knowledge or interest in digital marketing/ running a website.
  • Experience working in an office environment

Qualifications:

In return we offer an initial salary in the range: £ £23500 per annum, with further benefits, including:
