DMJ are excited to be working with Wheatley Group on the recruitment of a Governance Business Partner in their growing organisation.

Wheatley Group are currently seeking one permanent Governance Business Partner to join their Glasgow office.

Wheatley Group is Scotland's leading housing, care and property-management group.

They own or manage over 93,700 homes and deliver award-winning service to over 210,000 people across 19 local authority areas.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced governance professional to join their team.

This is a highly visible role within Wheatley Group through which you will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

As Governance Business Partner, you will be expected to be a team player with a keen eye for detail and a willingness to really get to know the business.

You will be responsible for supporting senior managers, ensuring that sound governance processes are embedded across the business.

You will confidently lead and provide advice on governance, regulatory and corporate compliance matters with a particular focus on the Registered Social Landlords within the Group.

You will support the implementation and review of governance policies, deliver training to colleagues, and ensure they continue to maintain high standards of integrity.

The Governance Business Partner will work closely with the Boards and Committees and will be responsible for providing a professional secretariat service.

This will include reviewing reports, attending Board and Committee meetings, advising Board and Committee members on their duties, corporate minute taking and maintaining accurate records.

It is essential that you hold a degree level or a relevant professional qualification.
