Description
Premier Recruitment Solutions require an HGV Mechanic / Fitter for our client ( one of the largest leading Waste & Recycling organisations in the UK) based in Esher on a long term contract, with the role being made permanent after a 13 week period


The Role:

Ensure the first time repair of vehicles and equipment and that a cost-effective repair is carried out and within budget

  • Ensure that all documentation, Work Orders, service sheets are completed and returned to the workshop office for approval
  • Ensure that all tooling and equipment used complies with current legislation and certification Maintenance of a tidy bench and working area
  • Ensure that all aspects of health and safety are adhered to and that the QA policy is understood
  • Maintain an up to date competency for the effective repair of vehicles None conformances at QA audits
  • To work safely both individually or with others


  • Working Monday

  • Friday shifts starting at 06:00 am 15:30 pm

The Package:

- £ 17.89 ph, Overtime potentially available

Requirements:


  • Experience in repairing HGV's
- maintaining Recycling Centre Vehicles would be an advantage

  • You must be trained to City and Guilds or NVQ level in the repair of vehicles and equipment or equivalent,
  • Team player Able to work on own initiative Tidy and organised
  • Manual Handling COSSH Environmental awareness
  • Ideally Hold an HGV Licence as you maybe required to take vehicles to and from 3rd party repair centres

Job Types:

Pay:
From £17.89 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
