About You

  • MUST have a minimum of 2 years' experience in Operations in an SME
  • The ability to work accurately at speed is essential and you must be a selfstarter with a 'cando/willdo' attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Advanced Excel skills (inc. pivot tables & vlookups)
  • Strong organisation skills
  • Ability to work efficiently with mínimal supervision
  • Brilliant attention to detail and accuracy
  • Positive and challenging attitude
  • A logical problem solver with a calm manner, bags of common sense and a flexible approach
  • De Facto knowledge ideal but not essential

About the Role


Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of business operations through the provision of effective methods and strategies.

Assist Managers in day-to-day coordination and management of business operational activities.

Evaluate current operational performance and provide strategic plan for improvements.

Identify problems in operations process and resolve them in quickly and timely manner.

Follow standard operating procedures for efficient business operations.

Maintain clear and accurate operations documents/procedures for reference purposes.

Day to day responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Sales order processing
  • Maintain various schedules to keep track of warehouse issues, OOS, delivery surcharges for under MOQs, etc.
  • Raising sales invoices, ensuring they reconcile with order acknowledgements
  • Merging and digital filling of SL invoices and order processing documents
  • Upload invoices to Retailer Customers platform
  • Building a good rapport with all customers
  • Regular communication with Sales team
  • Review and prepare various schedules for the month end process
  • Assist with the update of Price Lists / Price Structures/ Pricing update / Pricing Check and set up prices on Defacto
  • Analyse and coordinate the supply chain of the business including liaising with the Warehouse
  • Raise Purchase Orders for stock
  • Stock control including monthly reconciliations and biannual physical stock count at the warehouse.
  • Production of adhoc reports
  • Assist with the running of the company office
