The Role:

As a
Behaviour Mentor, you will play a crucial role in supporting children who are in care or deemed as 'looked after children.

' Your primary responsibilities will include:

Building positive and
nurturing relationships with students.
Providing oneonone and group mentoring to address
challenging behaviours.
Implementing
behaviour management strategies and interventions.
Supporting students' social and emotional development.
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external professionals to create individualized support plans.

Qualifications and Skills:

To excel in this role, you will need:

Resilience and the ability to effectively manage challenging behaviours.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Empathy and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on children's lives.
A patient and understanding approach to working with children with complex needs.
The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
