The Role:


As a
Behaviour Mentor, you will play a crucial role in supporting children who are in care or deemed as 'looked after children.

' Your primary responsibilities will include:


  • Building positive and
    nurturing relationships with students.
  • Providing oneonone and group mentoring to address
    challenging behaviours.
  • Implementing
    behaviour management strategies and interventions.
  • Supporting students' social and emotional development.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external professionals to create individualized support plans.

Qualifications and Skills:


To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Resilience and the ability to effectively manage challenging behaviours.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Empathy and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on children's lives.
  • A patient and understanding approach to working with children with complex needs.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

£82.09-£96.76 per day

Ability to commute/relocate:

Experience:

Teaching Assistant: 1 year (preferred)
Learning Support: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • DBS on the update service (preferred)
