One of the key areas we connect with clients and further strengthen the Citi brand across our stakeholders is through strategic client events and conferences.

The size of these varies from a select few strategic forums which are global, cross-business and highly visible, to smaller scaled regional events - all of which represent Citi and are part of the investment we make in client connectivity and brand building.


In order to strengthen our position across events and conferences, we are introducing consistent and enhanced client experiences as well as more stringent KPIs and success measurements that will help drive better quality, more alignment and improvement controls.


We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator for global events to work across all Institutional Clients Group (ICG) business lines, including Banking, Capital Markets and Advisory; Markets; Treasury and Trade Solutions; Securities Services; and Citi Commercial Bank.

The ICG Marketing Coordinator will be expected to work across these business lines to enhance client connectivity and support Citi's brand.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and organise bilateral meetings across all ICG strategic forums, including:
  • Client prioritisation and outreach for senior management attendees
  • Acting as the liaison across ICG businesses
  • Coordination of client lists, briefing documents and biographies
  • Onsite point of contact for client meetings
  • Ensuring compliance to all Citi meeting policies as it relates to gifts & entertainment
  • Ensuring post event client meeting tracking in relevant system for each business, including:
  • All client meetings entered onto business CRM calendar (ie, Velocity, Toolbox, etc) for monitoring of high-profile events
  • All client attendees are entered onto Velocity calendar for correct MiFID invoicing (Markets requirement)
  • Coordination with various teams across ICG to collate attendee details
  • Responsible for measurement, reporting and monitoring of key client activities and meetings
  • Tracking meetings on ICG Marketing tracker, CRM, Velocity, etc.
  • Coordination of monthly reviews and reporting
  • Partnering with Finance to evaluate event effectiveness through evaluation of key performance indicators
  • Owner of travel calendar and meetings for ICG Head
  • Coordination of internal and external/client meetings when traveling, including strategic forums and Citi hosted events

Skills:


  • Ability to coordinate and build relationships across various levels and functions
  • Experience in coordinating bilateral meetings and strategic events
  • Understanding of key business clients and priorities
  • Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced, dynamic environment
  • Understanding of risk and control functions and the impact on marketing engagement
