Warehouse Operative FLT


Salary Range:
£21,450 plus overtime at Time & Half after 37.5 hours

Hours: 37.5-hour week

Permanent 6am

  • 2pm Shift £11.00 per hour

Bridgnorth Shropshire

Permanent position working for a leading manufacturing organisation within the Automotive, Motorsport, Marine and MOD sector.


A Warehouse operative is required with knowledge of booking in and out using counterbalance fork lift truck in a well organised warehouse.

Palletising components for the supply of products into motorsport and high-end automotive industry.


Due to workload this Motorsport manufacturer based in Bridgnorth Shropshire requires an experienced FLT to work fixed 6am - 2pm shift on a straight permanent contract.

As a Warehouse FLT operative, you will be required to:


  • Handle raw materials supplied to work streams.
  • Book in raw materials and book out post manufactured components
  • Control stock levels in bulk storage and warehouse
  • Use counterbalance fork lift truck within warehouse and yard
  • Assist with the moving of new and old tools
  • Palletising components
  • Using internal MRP system
The Warehouse FLT operative should have the following skills or experience:

  • Up to date counterbalance FLT license
  • Warehouse experience
  • Good standard of manual dexterity
  • Good timekeeping
  • Ability to work to written instructions
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexible
  • Committed attitude to Continuous Improvement activities such as 5s etc
