Are you an experienced health care staff member looking for a new experience and development opportunity?

Or are you an administrator that wishes to utilise your existing skills and develop clinical skills in research?


The research department has a vacancy for a Band 4 Clinical Research Assistant to support research nurses and practitioners with a portfolio of clinical trials and research studies.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team including experienced medical, nursing, administrative and support staff supporting an exciting range of studies.

Experience in research would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.

  • Assist other research nurse/practitioners with clinical and administrative task related to studies
  • Ensuring that the clinical trial protocols you are working to are adhered to.
  • Arranging appropriate investigations and clinic visits.
  • Work according to Good Clinical Practice and research governance standards for clinical trials.
  • Conducts all trialrelated procedures is in accordance with trial protocol
