Guest Services Executive

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Guest Services Executive to join our dedicated team. As a Guest Services Executive, you will be at the forefront of our commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.

Your warm hospitality, attention to detail, and dedication to ensuring guest satisfaction will play a vital role in creating memorable stays for our valued guests.

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of £12.50.


Key Responsibilities:

Guest Welcome: Extend a warm and courteous welcome to arriving guests, providing assistance with check-in and luggage as needed.

Guest Assistance: Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns, offering solutions and information to enhance their stay.

Check-In/Check-Out: Efficiently process guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to hotel policies and procedures.

Reservations: Assist guests with reservations, room assignments, and special requests, optimizing room availability and guest satisfaction.

Concierge Services: Provide information and recommendations about local attractions, dining, transportation, and other services, helping guests make the most of their visit.

Communication: Effectively communicate with other hotel departments to coordinate guest services, including housekeeping and maintenance.

Safety and Security: Maintain a secure and safe environment for guests, following hotel security protocols.

Guest Relations: Build rapport with guests, fostering positive relationships and addressing any concerns or feedback.

Billing and Payments: Handle guest billing, process payments, and ensure accurate records of financial transactions.

Guest Records: Maintain accurate guest records, including contact information, special requests, and preferences.

Shift Reporting: Complete shift reports and handovers, providing detailed information to the next shift.

Problem Solving: Resolve guest issues and complaints promptly and professionally, seeking assistance from management when necessary.


Qualifications:

Hospitality Experience: Previous experience in a hospitality or guest services role is preferred.

Customer Focus: Exceptional customer service skills and a genuine desire to create positive guest experiences.

Communication: Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to handle guest requests and bookings accurately.

Computer Skills: Proficiency in using computer systems for check-ins, reservations, and guest inquiries.

Flexibility: Willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Problem-Solving: Effective problem-solving abilities to address guest concerns and provide solutions.
