ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Games Master your role would be to run escape games.

This would involve learning the flow of the games to be able to assist players in the form of hints and clues.

This would also involve the resetting of the rooms to exact specifications after players have finished to make sure we are ready to welcome the next players into the room.

We are looking for a Games Master to run Seance, our scare room. This is somewhat different to running more conventional escape rooms.

There is an element of scare acting involved as you will be expected to periodically enter the room in role, in darkness, while the team are playing.

Your main goal will be to create tension and suspense while also offering support to the team when necessary. Full training will be provided.

Customer interaction is key as you will be expected to introduce the games, debrief after the game is finished and work side by side with teams when they are in the room.

General duties also include regular cleaning of the games rooms, toilets and other facilities.

WHAT YOU CAN OFFER US

• Previous experience of working in and escape room is desired but not essential.
• An understanding of escape rooms is essential.
• Experience of working in an acting role is beneficial

WORKING PATTERNS

Primarily, you will be required to work:
Saturday - 8 hours (1.30pm - 9.30pm)
Thursday - 4 hours (5.30pm, - 9.30pm)

Some flexibility with evenings would be beneficial.


Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 12 per week


Salary:
£6.83-£9.50 per hour

• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Wakefield, WF1 1PT: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
