CPL have partnered with ALMAC to recruit for a CS CR Warehouse Operator
to join their team on a permanent basis.

OVERALL ROLE OBJECTIVE:
The post holder will be assigned a specific operational area of responsibility and will perform / oversee all material handling and associated computerised inventory control activities.
The post holder will deliver training to Warehouse staff when required and assess staff competency on all Warehouse activities on a daily basis.
The post holder must maintain the highest levels of housekeeping using available resource and ensure all H&S standards are adhered to.
JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
The post holder will:
- Ensure team members adhere to guidance in all SOP's.
- Ensure that all activities the team perform are organised and delivered to a high standard, satisfying cGMP at all times.
- Be responsible for all incoming goods; including discrepancy resolution, KPI's and customer specific receiving activities.
- Be responsible for Issue and Return of material to and from Production.
- Be responsible for Accountability & Destruction activities, including picking and processing material which has been approved for destruction.
- Be responsible for transportation of goods in a timely and safe manner between Warehouse facilities.
- Be responsible for Cycle counting and discrepancy investigation / resolution.
- Be responsible for the physical sampling of some clinical trial material / components and the corresponding electronic transactions.
- Ensure all material is labelled correctly, stored correctly and protected against damage or deterioration.
- Accurately maintain all forms and paperwork used within Warehouse operations.
- Ensure that all Inventory transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure that use of equipment e.g. FLT, Pallet Trucks is completed safely and competently.
- Ensure that high standards of housekeeping are maintained throughout all warehouses and that work areas are considered 'Audit Ready' at all times.
- Perform racking inspections as and when required.
- Ensure that Supervisors are kept informed in relation to any procedural non-compliances or operational problems encountered.
- Act as a key trainer in the delivery of SOP and practical training to Warehouse personnel Staff.
- Assist the Supervisor to ensure that all available resources are being utilised as efficiently and effectively as possible in order to manage the daily departmental workload.
- Complete daily handovers between shifts, both written and verbal.
- Act as a central point of contact for Warehouse Operators / Supervisors to provide assistance and guidance in relation to specific queries.
- Ensure that where required, communication is provided to the Warehouse Operator and/or Supervisor groups in a clear and timely fashion with regard to progress on priority activities and any problems being encountered.
- Assist the Supervisors to plan and prioritise the department workload in line with Production, Distribution and Destruction expectations using all available resources.
- Assist and deputise for the Warehouse Supervisor when required.
- Contribute to the review and writing of warehousing procedures, including the development of new SOP's and revision of existing SOPs.
Essential Experience/Qualifications
Significant relevant experience operating in similar role.
Experience working in a Logistics environment.
Experience of operating / managing a computerised inventory system.
Experience in allocating tasks or giving instructions to a team.
Working knowledge of Health and Safety related to a Logistics environment.
Ability to communicate effectively and competently. Verbal / Written.
Desirable Requirement
Forklift licence
