Description
Our client is based in Martlesham and seeking to recruit a Cargo Claims Handler.

Once trained in the role, the company operate a 'Hybrid' working policy where you have the option to work from home on Thursdays & Fridays

Duties

  • Responsible for claims handling
  • Daily review of cargo incidents
  • Contribute to claims handling teamwork and promote a positive IRM service provision
  • Manage processes and claims information exchange between business units and IRM, including business account managers and other key stakeholders
  • Review recovery opportunities for casualty claims
  • Implement and follow claims handling manuals to ensure the claims handling process is aligned with IRM principals and business expectations

Skills:


  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making capabilities
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
Salary

£21,000 to £24,000 depending on experience, plus company bonus scheme
