Asa Project Engineeryou will be responsible for:

  • Engineer systems and components for new and updated chassis projects, considering function, cost, manufacturing, assembly & quality, managing and development of key areas of the motorcycle.
  • Producing 3D & 2D CAD models to a high standard, supporting documentation, calculations & tol stacks.
  • Planning and overseeing the delivery of many major chassis sub assemblies or systems for NPD.
  • Design of components and systems to comply with regulatory requirements and internal test procedures.
  • Liaising with internal functional stakeholders to ensure alignment of expectations and needs.
  • Liaising with external suppliers to ensure design for manufacturing feedback is incorporated.
  • Managing time and workload effectively including that of any engineers reporting to you.
  • Working with CAD Designers allocated to help with creating CAD models.
  • Supporting test department with the testing of components and motorcycles.
  • Representing the design team in interdepartmental meetings in the absence of the manager or Team
- manager.


As a Project Engineer you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Past experience in engineering design and project delivery of components and sub assemblies
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as castings, mouldings, forgings, and fabrications.
  • Experience modelling in CREO or similar CAD software & creating 2D technical drawings
  • A basic understanding of motorcycle chassis layout and construction.
  • Practical experience of vehicle maintenance and preparation is advantageous.
