A leading investment group have an exciting opportunity to join their external communication team as a Communications Manager.


The role presents an exciting opportunity to amplify the brand's voice within the pensions and investment community globally through the creation, distribution and measurement of differentiated content that brings their purpose and activity to life.


Role Requirements:

  • Develop and deliver a multichannel brand communications plan with associated rolling 12month programme of differentiated media and content that measurably drives the recognition of the company's purpose and core themes within their target audiences. Followand enhance all external communications processes.
  • Maintain external communications channels including the website and social media accounts, providing indepth analysis of their usages and performance.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to create differentiated multichannel, multimedia campaigns and wider content that resonates with target audiences and position the company as a global thought leader.
  • Work closely with, develop and coordinate, SMEs to develop in line with content development processes. Maintain a deep understanding of current and future activity.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of target audiences, media partners, peers and appropriate industry associations their areas of interest and alignment with the company's purpose and core themes.
  • Setting and tracking campaign and content KPIs including reach, value and impact. Track and monitor wider media activity by third parties to understand the full reach of content.
  • Support the development of flagship publications and manage the award entry process.
  • Manage the daytoday effective running of the press office and the outsourced agency supporting this. Support the press management of sensitive issues.
  • Work collaboratively, ensuring support across the business.
  • Be detail orientated and ensure the end product is the best it can be, always looking for opportunities to learn and improve.
  • Manage their time and line manager expectations, flagging issues and requesting support quickly and suggesting prioritisation as required.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders and colleagues across the business and externally with media partners, agencies and industry peers.
