Our services and operations cover pallet network in East Anglia and full-load distribution across the UK.


We are currently recruiting a Warehouse Operative to work as part of the Operational Team at our Woolpit Depot, reporting to the Head of Warehousing.


Role/Responsibilities:


  • Safe loading and unloading vehicles.
  • Handballing loads.
  • Building pallets.
  • Ensure all pallets are correctly labelled and loaded onto the assigned trailers.
  • Scanning of all outbound pallets, exceeding 98%
  • Ensure outbound night trunks are dispatched on time.
  • Carry out forklift truck walk around inspections and report any issues.
  • Maintain warehouse and trailer cleanliness to ensure a safe working environment for all.

Experience and Qualifications:


  • A working knowledge of transport/warehouse operations would be beneficial.
  • Previous forklift experience would be advantageous but is not essential. Full training will be given if required

Skills and Attributes:


  • Must have a good level of literacy and numeracy.
  • Problem solver and able to use initiative.
  • Ambitious and forward thinking.
  • Keen to progress within the Business.
Monday - Friday 2pm to 11pm (1 hour for lunch unpaid)


Salary:
£21,000.00-£22,500.00 per year
