Group Head of IS Operations and Infrastructure - Up to £ Glasgow/Hybrid

An exciting digital change and transformation journey will greet the Group Head of Information Systems, Operations, and Infrastructure when they arrive at this diverse maritime technology and services solutions provider.

Working with the CIO, you will ensure effective and efficient delivery of all third party and internal programs that impact group IS Operations which underpins business processes and services across the company.

You will lead and direct people, products, providers and processes.

Key areas of focus include:

Lead the development of the Information Systems (IS) service and sourcing strategy, resource skills and competencies and technical roadmap ensuring they are aligned with company strategies
Define, develop and manage a comprehensive and integrated IS service management landscape, based on bestpractice processes, disciplines and related toolsets
Partner with the senior leadership team on the service portfolio and governance required to prioritise resources and budgets. Utilising exceptional leveraging, influencing and negotiating skills to ensure delivery success
Working with Group InfoSec Manager ensure data integrity and security procedures are robust and appropriate disaster recovery processes are in place, tested and monitored
Keep abreast of new and emerging technologies and lead on assessment and integration to keep the business competitive

Ideally, you will have:

Extensive experience in Information Systems, including design and deployment, systems lifecycle management, and infrastructure planning and operations
Proven track record of leading disparate, large, crossfunctional teams or projects, and influencing seniorlevel management and key stakeholders
Demonstrable experience in strategic planning, organisation design and development
Proven experience of leading IT transformational initiatives in complex and dynamic environments
Experience of delivering Commercial Off-The Shelf (COTS) solutions as well as managing inhouse / outsourced development preferably deployed on Cloud platforms
