We are recruiting for our client HOWDENS, the UK's number 1 trade kitchen supplier, who are currently rated within #25 in the best employers to work for in the UK - according to best companies live.

We are seeking Warehouse Counterbalance Forklift or Reachtruck Operators
(expired and in house forklift certificates accepted) to join the Impact / Howdens team based in Raunds NN9 6RJ for a short term project with potential for ongoing work.

SHIFTS & PAY:

ROTATING DAY SHIFTS:

Monday-Friday

06:00am-14:00pm then 14:00pm-22:00pm

12 Weeks: £13.84/hour

(£12.25/hour plus £1.59/hour fixed bonus)

After 12 Weeks:
£17.09/hour

(£15.50/hour plus £1.59/hour fixed bonus)

NIGHTSHIFT:

Sunday - Thursday

10pm - 6am

12 Weeks: £14.45

(£12.86/hour plus £1.59/hour fixed bonus)

After 12 Weeks:
£16.37/hour

£18.46/hour

(£16.37/hour plus £1.59/ fixed bonus)

Use a Reach or Counterbalance Forklift to safely load/unload/stack and transport products in an accurate and timely manner.
Continuously work in a safe manner to adhere to health and safety rules.
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures.
Carry out all necessary MHE checks.
Use manual handling to safely pick and stack products.
Perform housekeeping duties to ensure high hygiene levels for all shifts.
Working additional hours/shifts when the company requires.

To be successful in this role you must:

Have evidence of experience within a similar role and environment (Full training provided)
Be able and willing to undertake some heavy lifting.
Be able to work in a team environment.
Be able to work in shift patterns.
Be able to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
Be willing to undertake other work duties when required.
Be able to communicate clearly with all colleagues and Managers.

Expired forklift certificates accepted.

Commutable from:
Northampton, Wellingborough, Corby, Kettering, Peterborough, Huntingdon, Thrapston, Rushden, Oundle and Bedford.
