We are recruiting for our client HOWDENS, the UK's number 1 trade kitchen supplier, who are currently rated within #25 in the best employers to work for in the UK - according to best companies live.


We are seeking Warehouse Counterbalance Forklift or Reachtruck Operators
(expired and in house forklift certificates accepted) to join the Impact / Howdens team based in Raunds NN9 6RJ for a short term project with potential for ongoing work.

SHIFTS & PAY:


ROTATING DAY SHIFTS:

Monday-Friday

06:00am-14:00pm then 14:00pm-22:00pm


  • 12 Weeks: £13.84/hour
(£12.25/hour plus £1.59/hour fixed bonus)


After 12 Weeks:
£17.09/hour

(£15.50/hour plus £1.59/hour fixed bonus)


NIGHTSHIFT:

Sunday - Thursday

10pm - 6am

  • 12 Weeks: £14.45
(£12.86/hour plus £1.59/hour fixed bonus)


After 12 Weeks:
£16.37/hour

£18.46/hour

(£16.37/hour plus £1.59/ fixed bonus)

  • Use a Reach or Counterbalance Forklift to safely load/unload/stack and transport products in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Continuously work in a safe manner to adhere to health and safety rules.
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Carry out all necessary MHE checks.
  • Use manual handling to safely pick and stack products.
  • Perform housekeeping duties to ensure high hygiene levels for all shifts.
  • Working additional hours/shifts when the company requires.

To be successful in this role you must:

  • Have evidence of experience within a similar role and environment (Full training provided)
  • Be able and willing to undertake some heavy lifting.
  • Be able to work in a team environment.
  • Be able to work in shift patterns.
  • Be able to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
  • Be willing to undertake other work duties when required.
  • Be able to communicate clearly with all colleagues and Managers.

Expired forklift certificates accepted.

Commutable from:
Northampton, Wellingborough, Corby, Kettering, Peterborough, Huntingdon, Thrapston, Rushden, Oundle and Bedford.
