We are seeking a kind, caring and dedicated person to join our friendly pre-school staff team.

They must have the following qualifications:

GCSE English and Maths (minimum Grade C unless a Level 2/Level 3 relevant childcare qualification is already held).
NVQ Level 2 in Children's Care Learning and Development
Commitment to complete Level 3 qualification in Children's Care Learning and Development if not already held.
SEND experience / qualification not essential, but is a desirable characteristic for this role.
To work as part of our preschool team to provide a safe, happy and inclusive environment for young children (aged 5 years).
To work under the direction of the preschool manager to provide high quality education and care for young children and ensure their needs are met within the setting.
To assist with planning and reviewing the curriculum, preparing activities, arranging equipment (including tidying away at the end of each session) and taking part in organised visits.
To interact with the children daily, to provide a range of stimulating activities to promote all areas of learning.
To listen to, nurture, encourage, stimulate and educate the children to further develop their skills, in line with the current early years curriculum, legislation requirements and safeguarding procedures.
To act as a keyworker to a small group of children, working with parents / carers and supervisors to ensure individual needs are met.
To be responsible for the observations, record keeping and further planning relating to the progress and development of key children.
