Description

We are a small, friendly grounds maintenance company based in Chingford and we are looking for a full-time experienced gardener.

Hours of work are 7am - 4pm Monday

  • Friday, March
  • November, with reduced hours December, January and February.

Essential skills / attributes

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a garden maintenance team.
  • Full, clean UK driving license is preferable
  • Good customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a productive team or autonomously when required
  • Working knowledge of and ability to safely operate all hand tools and power equipment used in ground maintenance activities
  • Knowledge of safety procedures, pruning methods and standard practices/terminology of the trade
  • Good plant knowledge
  • Able to use initiative
  • Be able to pass a DBS check
  • Excellent sickness/absence record
  • Expected to work in all seasons

Desirable skills

  • Horticulture training
  • NPTC PA1 & PA6

Job Types:
