Description

Support worker required to work as part of a team, providing specialised personal care and support to a young lady with a spinal injury, to live independently in her own home.

She requires 24 hr support therefore there are various shift patterns to allow for this. Duties to include all aspects of personal care, hoisting, moving and handling.

You will work with another member of staff during morning care, Physio sessions and Bedtime care, throughout the day you will be working on a 1 to 1 basis, you will assist with mealtimes, carry out some household chores, assist with animals.

You will be required to take her out - in her adapted car - for various activities - appointments, shopping and all social events.

She is passionate about rugby and loves her animals.

Applicants must be reliable, have a positive and caring attitude, have a flexible approach to work.

Experience would be an advantage but not necessary as full training will be provided.

Must have a full, clean driving licence and be over 25 yrs for insurance purpose

Successfull aplicants will be required to register under the PVG scheme
