Utility Surveyor / Senior Utility Surveyor

Location:
Central Belt of Scotland / site travel.

Salary / Benefits:

£26,000 - £40,000 per annum dependant on level of experience plus vehicle, equipment & overtime

Role Overview

Working for an Utility & Land Surveying Specialist offering a range of services to the construction industry in the UK.

Due to a recent contract win, the client is looking recruiting for a number of utility surveyors t to work on projects around the Central Belt of Scotland

If you are looking for your next challenge or just need a change, then this is a great opportunity to work in a growing team.

A minimum of 2/3 years utility surveying experience
Experienced in use of Electromagnetic location and ground penetrating radar.
A good understanding of common industry practices and standards in regards to utility detection, such as PAS 128 and TSA
Good working knowledge of surveying equipment, such as GPR, CAT and Genny utility detection equipment
Able to work collaboratively in a team and deal with clients on site.
Clean & Full driving License
Right to Work in UK with good comprehension of the English language.

Desirables

QCF Level 3 or Level 5 for utility mapping

Responsibilities

Carry out site surveys as required by the work instruction
Undertake investigative utility surveys and conduct paperwork in accordance with company procedures
Liaising with other site surveyors, contractors, suppliers, clients
Create Utility Survey Reports
Carry out appropriate quality control checks and issue data to CAD
Check all survey drawings before they are issued to our customer
Mentor and train less experienced surveyors, as required
Provide technical support to Project Managers and internal staff members
