Description

As accountancy Apprentice, you will support all members of the finance team.

The role will involve liaising with customers, suppliers, and colleagues, supporting all accounting functions including invoice processing, journal entries, management accounts preparation, monthly reporting & reconciliations.

Learn how to use SAGE X3 accounting software.
Learn how to prepare management accounts.
Carry out bookkeeping activities including journal postings and ledger reconciliations.
Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
Ensure timely bank payments.

Entry requirements

Mandatory; GCSE Level 5 in maths and Level 4 in English/ Equivalent.

Training to be provided

Apprentices will be required to attend college at least x1 day per week either at Uxbridge, Harrow or Hayes Campus completing necessary mandatory training and units associated with the apprenticeship.

The apprentice will be required to complete:

Work towards gaining a full Level 3 AAT qualification.
Employment Rights and Responsibilities.
Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviours.
Standard and End Point Assessment.
Functional Skills in English, Maths, and ICT (if required).

Other training will be provided by the employer as required to enable the fulfilment of the job role.

Things to consider

Our offices are based in the centre of Uxbridge.

The salary for this position would be in line with the National Minimum Wage by age band appropriate ( Salary range £9,884 - £18,964.4).
