The leading healthcare knowledge provider BMJ, has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Engagement Lead to join a talented and dynamic department.

Our clinical decision support (CDS) tool, BMJ Best Practice is used by healthcare professionals worldwide to drive improved patient care.


This role will engage with senior healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders to generate awareness and advocacy of BMJ Best Practice in target countries.

The role holder will require clinical expertise, knowledge of the clinical decision support tools and an established network in this space.

Key activities include outreach, networking, customer engagement, and demonstrating the impact of BMJ Best Practice through clinical evaluations.


Responsibilities:


  • Identifying key opinion leaders and building awareness of BMJ Best Practice within target markets
  • Growing and progressing the pipeline of customer conversations alongside marketing and the business to grow the number of partnerships for BMJ Best Practice
  • Networking and speaking on behalf of BMJ to promote BMJ Best Practice for example, at digital health events ambassadorial role
  • Supporting the expansion of the BMJ clinical champion programme in target countries
  • Engaging with clinical teams to support integration of BMJ Best Practice into hospital systems
  • Creating clinical resources and promotional materials with marketing to raise awareness of BMJ Best Practice
  • Interacting with healthcare professional networks and organisations to accelerate adoption and engagement
  • Capturing testimonials and case studies to demonstrate the impact of BMJ Best Practice
  • International travel may be required for events and conferences.

Qualifications:

Qualifications
MB BS, MB BCh, MB ChB or equivalent


Experience

  • A clinician with at least 3 years recent clinical practice
  • Use of technology in the clinical workflow and knowledge based tools in practice
  • Engagement with senior decision makers and clinical networks in digital health internationally
  • Excellent working knowledge of the digital health market and excellent network
  • Working in a commercial environment.

Skills

  • Strong leadership, influencing skills, communication and networking skills
  • Good knowledge of evidencebased medicine, healthcare IT and quality improvement
  • An ability to identify key clinical questions and develop recommendations for clinical practice
  • Excellent presentation and customer engagement skills
  • Strong organisational skills ability to plan, organise and prioritise a busy workload
  • Demonstrate their ability to bring innovative solutions to bear on complex problems.
