What does the role involve?
EMBS Engineering is currently working in partnership with a well established, advanced manufacturing engineering business located in Derbyshire. The client offers a single source service to world-leading customers across various industries such as Aerospace, Nuclear & Power.

Our client is looking to attract skilled CNC Machinist to join their business on a full time, permanent basis.

They have various machines with different capabilities to enable them to manufacture a wide variety of complex components, giving you the opportunity to work on high quality, high integrity parts in a range of materials.

What experience do you need?

Strong precision engineering background
Minimum 3 years experience as a CNC Machinist
Milling or Turning
Ability to use a variety CNC Milling and/or CNC Turning machines such as Vertical, Horizontal, Mill Turn, Turn Mill etc
Experience working with Fanuc, Mazatrol, Heidenhain or Siemens control panels
Previous machined complex parts for precision industries including Aerospace, Motorsport, Nuclear, MOD, Oil & Gas etc
Previously worked with Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Titanium
Experience with machining to tight tolerances
Confident working with small to mediumsized components
Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
Team Leader or Programming experience would be highly advantageous and offer a premium hourly rate

Hourly rate: £16 £19 per hour, depending on experience
