Due to continued growth and expansion, Contract Scotland have an exciting opportunity for a Site Supervisor with one of our valued clients, a successful civil engineering contractor based in Aberdeen.


Our client is a with a very well-established construction business who have various divisions within construction, civil engineering and housing based in Aberdeen.

Projects will be varied including a mix of work including utilities, infrastructure, earthworksand groundworks throughout the North of Scotland.

With a variety of civil engineering projects in the pipeline, they expect a busy year ahead and would like to add an experienced Site Supervisor to their team.


As Site Supervisor, you'll be responsible for:

  • The supervision of all direct employees and subcontractors.
  • Communicate and motivate site operatives and subcontractors to ensure that programme of work is maintained.
  • Liaising with Contract Manager to report any issues or defects within your section of work.
  • Ensure onsite assessments are conducted and implement a plan to overcome any risks that may arise.
  • Ensure plant and equipment is maintained.
  • Implement and adhere to company health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Produce reports and maintain good site records.

You should be a great problem solver, great interpersonal skills and have the following skills:

  • Previous experience on civil engineering projects, particularly groundworks and infrastructure.
  • Hold the following site qualifications
  • SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of ISO 9001,ISO 14001 & ISO 4500
  • Have a good understanding of the Microsoft Office packages.
  • You must hold a UK drivers license.
