Description
You will work under the direction of the cook in a Care Home for up to 32 residents.

  • Assist in kitchen duties connected with the preparation, cooking and presentation of meals and beverages whilst ensuring the highest quality.
  • Carry out general kitchen and dining room duties, such as setting up, cleaning tables, washing up, serving meals etc.
  • Ensure that a good standard of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained throughout the kitchen and dining room.

Skills/Qualifications:


  • Previous kitchen assistant experience an advantage
  • Able to work unsupervised and on own initiative
  • Commitment to providing a quality service
Whilst the position is currently tempoarary, there is a possibility of a permanent placement in the future.


Job Types:
Part-time, Temporary contract


Salary:
£9.60 per hour


Schedule:

  • Day shift

COVID-19 considerations:
Full PPE is available. Staff currently take part in a weekly testing program.

  • Kitchen: 1 year (required)
