Here at Magdalen House, our first point of contact is crucial to our success. We are looking to welcome a friendly. reliable, capable, receptionist to join our administrative team. This is a part time role working 18 hours a week, on a rota schedule which includes alternate weekends.
You will be a caring person with a friendly persona and smart appearance, and have experience of working in a public facing role.
You will have a good basic education with GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths, and will have good spoken and grammatical English.
As the first point of contact for our families and other visitors, the right person for this role is vital.
You will be expected to welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner, with a smile, and be ready to assist.
You will have an excellent telephone manner and be able to reply promptly to enquiries, taking ownership of queries and finding answers to questions.
As well as providing great customer service, responsibilities will also include general office duties, admin support to the Manager and Deputy Manager, and you will be responsible for ensuring the reception area is a tidy, welcoming environment.
