Salary:
£22, £29,556.00 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

Our Bright Horizons Solihull is Ofsted rated 'Good' and is situated on a residential road connecting Solihull to Olton, with the train station within walking distance, and the nearest train link into Central Birmingham being Olton (journey time of 15 minutes). There is also good road links and bus routes available.
The nursery offers seven individual home-bases tailored to each age group, with an external play area where children can flourish and explore. All rooms have been designed to be flexible with good access to the garden - 5 of which having direct access

What you'll be doing
- Plan, create and implement engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones.
- Observing, tracking and reflecting on learning
- Develop and maintain strong parent/ carer partnerships
- Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures and policies are followed at all times
- Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment on a day to day basis

What we're looking for
- Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
- Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nursery Assistant or similar)
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
- Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
- Ability to use a variety of techniques to clearly and successfully communicate with both children and adults
- Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
