The Role
We are looking for an Executive Secretary with Property experience to join our Property Team.


The Team


As an Executive Secretary you will be a part of a team that comprises 5 Solicitors including the Head of Property, 1 Consultant, 1 Trainee Solicitor, 2 Property Assistants and 1 Team Administrator.


Responsibilities

  • Managing the support function in the team, to ensure a seamless service for fee earners
  • Land Registry: registrations and obtaining documents
  • SDLT forms
  • Diary management (including arranging meetings and making travel arrangements when necessary)
  • Drafting bills
  • File opening/closing
  • File management (ensuring the paper files and electronic files are set up correctly, are properly organised and up to date)
  • General Admin
  • Drafting basic correspondence
  • Drafting bills
and printing bill guides

  • Fast/accurate audio and copy typing
  • Relaying accurate telephone messages from client to feeearner (taking action if appropriate)
  • Undertaking some basic research for feeearners
  • Dealing with expense claims for feeearners
  • Liaison with HR regarding attendance on training courses, CPD points, subscriptions etc.
  • Sickness absence reporting
  • Arranging holiday/sickness cover

Salary:
£25,500.00-£26,500.00 per year
