The Private Patients Pathway Co-ordinator will be responsible for providing a high-quality administrative support service within Guys and St Thomas' Specialist Care.

The post holder will provide comprehensive administration and co-ordination support to patients sponsored by international Embassies and Health Offices, ensuring that all patients have the necessary funding or guarantee of payment in place ahead of treatment in a timely and proactive manner.

The post holder will act as a comprehensive point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all enquiries relating to pre-authorisations are answered professionally and efficiently.

They will also act as a positive ambassador for Guys and St Thomas' Specialist Care, promoting our services to all external stakeholders whom we work with.

The Evelina London the second largest provider of children's services in London.

As a specialist paediatric hospital, the Evelina is unique in having this broad scope of secondary and tertiary paediatric specialities collocated on the same site as maternity and A&E, as well as equivalent adult services for transition.

Private patient activity within the clinical group takes place at Guy's Hospital, St Thomas' Hospital, Evelina London Children's Hospital and Royal Brompton and Harefield sites
- all of which form part of Guys and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. While there are areas of dedicated/ring-fenced clinical capacity, private practice is integrated with NHS services and this requires close partnership with the directorate leadership teams on all planning and delivery. However, in recognition that private practice is a separate business within the clinical group there is a dedicated private practice team including a head of international & private, a clinical director of international services, clinical leads, business development managers, service managers and a large administration team. The trust has ambitious plans to grow and develop its international and private patient offering over the next 5 years, all of which will enable re-investment across the entirety of our NHS services
