APPLICANTS MUST HAVE EXPERIANCE WELDING STEEL PIPEWORK

GS-Hydro has been providing pipework solutions since 1974 and due to increased business needs, we are expanding on our teams.

Duties will include spool fabrication using both welding and mechanical forming techniques as well as some pressure testing and flushing.

Training on all GS-Hydro products, systems and equipment will be provided.

Responsibilities Include:

Welding of Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel Pipework
Welding both small (<2") and large bore (up to 32") heavy wall pipework.
Working both in fabrication workshop and on site as and when required.
Commercial and process pipework fabrication, welding, fitting and modification.
Fabricating pipework in accordance to Isometric drawings, P&iD's and job specifications.
Installation and or modification of commercial & industrial pipeline systems.
Working to tight tolerances.
Promote good housekeeping for an efficient working environment.
Setting standards and mentoring junior members of the team.
Ability to work all over the UK, scheduled or ADHOC trips away from home is a must.
Good team working skills as well being able to work on own initiative.
Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and drawings.
A keen eye for detail, pride in delivering quality work and good work ethic.
A good understanding of technical drawings and be able to interpret safety instructions.
Resourceful, skilful, selfmotivated, able to work without the need for direct supervision.
Trustworthy, punctual and reliable.
Comfortable working outside in all elements of weather when required.
