**Sales Executive

Location:
Broxbourne


Salary:
£50,000 - £55,000 plus car allowance + bonus

Hours: 40 hours per week


Days:
Monday - Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm (1 hour lunch)
- (Hybrid working after successful probation)_

Our Client is requiring somebody with a great personality and drive to exceed the customers' expectations. The right person will also have flexibility, enthusiasm, and ambition. You will work as part of a team but with the confidence to learn the businessand work independently.


The Role:


  • The new salesperson will also be required to open new doors and opportunities for the business and will proactively identify and nurture opportunities and leads, respond in a timely and accurate manner to requests, conduct customer visits and negotiationsand close sales.
  • You will be required to contact customers to promote our range of poultry, vegan, snack, and party food products that the company offers.
  • You will be responsible for an existing client base but will also build your own portfolio to help continue to expand our business and grow sales.
  • Frequent UK travel required, with occasional international travel

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining and developing an existing account base
  • Prospecting for new clients
  • Working closely with our NPD team to develop the product range
  • Face to face client visits

The Person

  • Essential relevant experience in sales within the food industry
  • Innovative thinker who can work on their own initiative and manage time accordingly
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Passionate and driven
  • Full current driving licence
  • 2years commercial exposure
  • Microsoft office intermediate skills, including, Excel, Word and Powerpoint
