Description

You will contribute and commit to promoting a positive team-based attitude, striving for the highest standards of care and achieving excellence, through continued development and compassion.

You will support the Director of Quality and Improvement to monitor clinical quality outcomes, including audits, thematic analysis of incidents and monitoring implementation of action plans.

You will support the Clinical Admin team with the implementation of new processes identified through changes to quality procedures. Key Responsibilities Support the Director of Quality and Improvement in delivering the Hospices Audit, Quality and Data agenda.


Support with the development of policies, procedures, guidelines, infrastructures, systems and processes which will ensure the Hospice is able to meet its statutory, regulatory, and other compliance requirements.

Support the Director of Quality and Improvement to manage the evidence requirements for Care Quality Commission (CQC) Registration and support the Hospice with all areas of compliance with the CQC.

Support the functions of Information Governance, Medicines Management, Infection Control, Risk Management and support the Hospice Clinical Health and Safety infrastructure.

To undertake audits and report findings as requested by the Director of Quality & Improvement.


To provide support and guidance to the clinical teams in relation to progressing improved quality and compliance for the Hospice.

In consultation with the Director of Quality and Improvement, ensure any changes to national regulation and compliance are incorporated into internal processes.

Contribute to the completion of monthly/quarterly reports as directed by the Director of Quality & Improvement. Support the change process resulting from the findings from audits.

Support the Director of Quality and Improvement to manage the evidence requirements for Care Quality Commission (CQC) Registration and support the Hospice with all areas of compliance with the CQC.

Support the functions of Information Governance, Medicines Management, Infection Control, Risk Management and support the Hospice Clinical Health and Safety infrastructure.

To undertake audits and report findings as requested by the Director of Quality & Improvement. To contribute to the development of action improvement plans from recommendations and report on progress as requested.


Work with relevant staff at all levels to support implementation of risk management plans and facilitation of change in practice.
