We are currently looking for Production Data Collector and Controller to join us in Hull blade factory.


As a Data Collector and Controller, you would be responsible for Data collection and analysis on production performance against planned times and targets, as well as enabling communication of the results to the production teams and other departments, to help in driving special improvement projects relating to Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery.


Note :
This is a 12 months fixed term contract

This role involves working in shifts (including weekends and nights)

Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:

  • Improving the way in which we collect and analyse the data to show the most mindful data.
  • Maintenance of our Power BI apps and ensuring reports are updating correctly
  • Delivering Operator training and signing off operator competency and system key-user refresher training to maintain and document workforce competency in using the shop floor system
  • Aiding in providing information recorded in the system to help quality and engineering find root causes of problems to help drive quality improvements
  • Working with users to manage their expectations and educate them in regard to system functionality and capability
  • Providing shop floor system support to correct times and checks logged in the system, basic trouble-shooting and problem-solving. Logging, identifying, and addressing common support needs/issues
  • Aiding the system user account/log-in maintenance, as well as supporting production to follow the back-up procedures
  • Escalating, documenting, and reporting of system downtime, bugs and poor system performance, where a noticeable impact to the production and/or data is likely
  • Hardware installation of shopfloor computer systems
What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for- Strong Microsoft office skills- Ability to use Power BI desirable- Effective communicator with all levels of the organisation including confidence to deliver training- Knowledge of and skills using Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (SAP, QSYS - A cloud-manageable audio, video and control platform /Prisma preferable)- Critical/Analytical thinking- Confident with IT equipment installation / troubleshooting- Competent to work under pressure to deadlines and take responsibility for own work
