As Ecoglass Ltd, we are an independent glass supplier in Norfolk that has continued to grow and become a market leader.

We are pleased to announce a Full Time Permanent position of a Trainee Glass Cutting Operative our backshift.

You will be trained by and assist the Glass Cutting Operative.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

Learn to use the overhead gantry crane to lift and transfer glass
To load glass onto automatic cutting tables
To input required size information onto the Lisec operating system
Breaking out the cut glass
Ensuring cut glass is placed onto the correct cart
Larger pieces of glass to be flat packed
Dispose safely of waste products

Able to manage their own time and workload efficiently
Remain calm under pressure
Physically demanding role
Health & Safety Compliance
Excellent Communication Skills
Willingness to learn.

Experience:

Confident in the handling of glass is essential

Working times:
Monday to Thursday 17:00 - 02:30, with a half hour unpaid lunch break, Friday 16:00-20:00.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
£12.02 per hour
