What you'll be doing

The Capital Modelling Actuary will be responsible for maintenance and development of the Group's risk and capital modelling capabilities, to support the Risk Management Framework and to produce regulatory capital submissions and internal management information.

The role will work closely with the Senior Actuary and Head of Capital Modelling and will be responsible for the day to day operation of the capital model.

You will excel in this role, given your knowledge of capital modelling techniques and discipline, as well as a firm grasp of the commercial drivers and dynamics affecting capital in the Insurance sector.

This role will complement individuals who have experience of PRA regulations and attitudes to management practice in relation to Risk and a good understanding of the prospective requirements of Solvency II.
