JOB DESCRIPTION:
Working as the Drive Service Co-Ordinator within a well-established and respected engineering organisation, with a growing and stable client base in the electrical / mechanical service industry, serving large manufacturing and utilities organisation across the UK.
Reporting to the Drive Service Operations Manager, the role of the Drive Service Co-Ordinator is responsible for ensuring the effective co-ordination of the Drive Service department.
A clean UK Driving Licence is essential, and you must be flexible in order to meet the needs of the business and Customer requirements.
DAY TO DAY DUTIES:
- Assisting with allocation of work
- Sourcing / pricing of parts and materials
- Successfully monitoring and coordinating hire drives
- Administration and communication of drive service contracts
- Providing technical support, both internally and externally
- Assisting in arranging scrap parts and materials
- Log and coordinate workshop stock levels
- Answering internal calls in the office
- Comply with and ensure high levels of health and safety standards, particularly within the Drive Service department
- Involvement and improvement of Continuous Improvement across all departments within the business
- Taking the lead in hosting daily SQWASHE meetings
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
- Assisting with any other duties as and when required
- Assisting in ensuring the workshop is kept clean and tidy
- Attending Customer site's as part of a team as and when required
- Attending relevant internal meetings as and when required
- Attending training courses either internally or externally as and when required
- Ensuring continuous improvement within the Department in line with the business objectives and SQWASHE
- Operating Fork Lift Truck as and when required
- Assisting with Risk Assessments & Method Statements as and when required
- Providing 1st response on call cover as and when required
ABILITIES / SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Strong / confident communication skills
- Competent with a range of Microsoft packages
- Proactive approach to problem solving
- Ability to work under pressure and multi task to meet deadlines
- A positive outlook with good organisation skills and the ability to forward think
ABILITIES / SKILLS DESIRED:
- Previous work experience in Automotive / Engineering Industry

£25,812.80-£28,402.41 per year
