Overhead Crane Operator


Due to a fantastic period of growth Allelys Group are recruiting a proactive and self-motivated Overhead Crane Operator to join our Heavy Storage & Warehouse team.


This is an exciting role where you will be moving heavy equipment and press tools with the support of our Heavy Forklift Drivers.

Allelys are one of the largest and most successful Abnormal load Transport and Heavy Lift companies in the UK. We move anything from bridge sections to tanks, and everything in between.


As an Overhead Crane Operator, you will be responsible for:

  • The safeunloading and loading of heavy engineering equipment.
  • Moving heavy press tools with the assistance of our Heavy Forklift Drivers.
  • Helping to locate goods and equipment for out loading
  • Record keeping and stock control of the warehouse and yards.
  • Keeping the environment clean and tidy.
  • Willing to be trained as a Heavy Forklift Driver.

You will have the following experience:

  • Previous experience of Overhead Crane Operating
  • Ability to multitask and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Selfmotivated, proactive and hard working.
  • A team player with a handson approach to work.

Salary
£13.00 per hour
Overtime £19.50 per hour
