Class 2 Driver

Based in Enfield

Full time, Permanent

£35K pa plus bonus

This Class 2 Driver role involves collecting bags or skips of waste using a Hiab, that needs to be disposed of safely.

A typical day would look like -
First pick up cannot be done before 6.30am. Depending on where your first drop is, depends on when you might want to leave the warehouse/depot.

You are responsible for planning the timing and getting to your collections for the day but routes will be plannedthe day before at 2pm.

It is around 20/25 pick ups a day.

They use multiple designated Tipper sites, you will probably need to tip twice a day.

At the moment the tip closes at 4.30pm so if you tip before home time you can guarantee you'll be finished by 4.30/5pm.

What training is provided?

You will be given 2 weeks training, 1st week will be in the warehouse doing theory and practical training and practising on the crane, if you don't have a Hiab ticket, this company will pay for you to do the training to gain this.

The 2nd week you will beout with a senior driver shadowing and doing your own pick ups.

Salary:

up to £35K depending on experience, plus quarterly bonus based on the amount of collections you do and time and a half is paid for anything worked over 48 hrs plus Saturdays.

25 days holiday a year plus bank holidays.
