Are you self motivated ?

Do you have excellent planning negation and organisational skills ?

If so we are looking for you to join our team as a medical rota coordinator.

The service requires working with medical teams to create a safe and effective rota across our hospital site.

Liaising with Client Relationship Manager (Medacs) regarding agency requirements and co-ordinating the AGI agency approval process for the site.


To liaise with the Medical Workforce team to ensure that all NHS locums have the appropriate pre employment checks in place.

To assist and support the recruitment process with using the TRAC system and setting up interviews.


To ensure that a proactive role is taken in the organisation in sourcing locum cover and ensuring that service managers, clinical leads and directors, other service are kept up to date of gaps.

If cover cannot be found then the site's escalation process should be followed through to the Service Manager.

To ensure the completion of the administration involved in the provision of locum cover. This includes booking accommodation, notifying switchboard and departments.

Bronglais General in Aberystwyth, Glangwili General in Carmarthen, Prince Philip in Llanelli and Withybush General in Haverfordwest;

Amman Valley and Llandovery in Carmarthenshire; Tregaron, Aberaeron and Cardigan in Ceredigion; and Tenby and South Pembrokeshire Hospital Health and Social Care Resource Centre in Pembrokeshire;
48 general practices (four of which are managed practices), 47 dental practices (including three orthodontic), 99 community pharmacies, 44 general ophthalmic practices (43 providing Eye Health Examination Wales and 34 low vision services) and 17 domiciliary only providers and 11 health centres;
Numerous locations providing mental health and learning disabilities services;

The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post.
