Receptionist - Cloverleaf - Lincoln

Are you looking to work in a care environment and keep your receptionist skills up to date? Are you looking for a more fulfilling position? Do you want a friendly and busy company to work for?


At home the receptionist is the face of the home, you will be the voice people hear upon calling for general enquiries for their family, to arrange visits to their family or for being enquired to work with us You are integral to the home.

This will include weekdays and every other weekend, days to be discussed at interview.

At Tanglewood we are expanding our homes and our teams.

We are enthusiastic about promoting you as an individual, if you have specific career aspirations within care, we will advocate any training you need including NVQ Level 2, 3, 4, 5, CHAPS training, nursing and so on to work your way up.

You may begin as a receptionist, but your aspirations do not have to stop there.

About the home

The responsibilities of a receptionist at home include:

  • Welcome all visitors to the care home courteously, determine the reason for their visit and check their identity,
  • Telephone appropriate departments regarding the visitor's arrival,
  • General filing and preparation of archiving to forward to central archive store,
  • Provide administrative support to the Administrator as and when required,
  • Assist with the processing of clients payments using the card payment terminal,
  • Maintain staff register and sickness files ensuring the relevant documents/spreadsheets are kept up to date,
  • Take payments from visitors/residents and receipt as necessary.
