Financial Accountant

Norwich

37 hours per week

Up to £45,000 depending on experience


Norse Group a recruiting a Financial Accountant to join our Finance Team based at our Head Office on Fifers Lane.


This role is on an 18-month Fixed Term Contract, due to the secondment of internal employees commencing work on an exciting project.


The Role:


Reporting into the Group Financial Accountant, you will be required to assist with monthly and annual financial reporting for the group, playing a key role working with both the wider finance function and the operational business; ensure that accurate andcomplete information is filed in line with statutory deadlines.

You will have previous experience within a similar Financial Accountant role within a busy and diverse business, alongside:

  • Recognised professional finance / accounting qualification and ongoing membership, including ACCA, ACA or equivalent
  • Good understanding of tax rules and legislation (particularly in relation to VAT)
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to communicate across senior levels
  • Able to effectively manage your workload within a deadline driven environment
